Recent News

  • Check out latest advisories: Alcohol can be found on the side bar Other Alcohol Resources. Marijuana can be found on the side bar Board Guidance.
  • AMCO is closed for in-person service on Wednesdays. This will permit our staff to focus on backlogs. However, we are still actively addressing and resolving every day needs such as completion of license delegations, scheduling inspections, and issuing marijuana handler permits and alcoholic beverage event permits. You may still email us and drop off documents in our Dropbox outside Suite 1600. We hope to return to regular in-person service as soon as possible and will update you accordingly.
  • License and Permit Search. Here are the instructions and link for accessing the Public Search on AK-ACCIS. During the database transition, not all license information may be current. Please check in with AMCO staff if you have more questions or want to verify information on a license. Contact us at [email protected] or 907-269-0350.
  • Effective January 1, 2024, a common carrier may not transport of deliver alcoholic beverages to a person in the state unless approved by the board or interimly approved by the AMCO Director. A list of approved common carries is available under the Other Alcohol Resources.
  • Find our new keg registration form here. Under AS 04.21.012, "a person may not purchase a keg or similar container holding four or more gallons of an alcoholic beverage unless the person provides proof that the person is over 21 years of age and completes and signs a registration form" and "a licensee or an agent or employee of a licensee who sells or offers for sale a keg or similar container holding four or more gallons of an alcoholic beverage shall require a purchaser to show acceptable proof of age under AS 04.21.050(b) and sign the sworn statement on a registration form."
