Welcome to themue.dev

That’s me, Frank Müller

IT since 1984 – that’s a long time. But it brings with it many exciting experiences. Here on my website, themue.dev, you’ll find a wide variety of practical insights from software development, software and enterprise architecture, and the world of mainframes through to cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes and, nowadays, AI. These include practices and processes, as well as tasks undertaken as a lead for development, projects and teams.

I remain interested in all these things, not just professionally but in my private life too. Developing technologies, just writing some code, finding new approaches. Some of it might be useful elsewhere; other things are simply just fun for me. The content of this site can be found in two areas:

  1. Blog contains news and updates or sometimes small notes about upcomming documents.
  2. Articles containes all my articles and documentations about personal projects, different technologies I’m interested in, processes for the development of IT-projects to maintencance or discontinuation and finally different thoughts about responsibility, trends, shifting of minds and similar.

Some of my posts here are in the masculine form and others in the feminine form. This is intended to treat all people—whether women, men, or non-binary individuals—equally, here in IT and elsewhere. However, in these posts, I use only one of the forms to make the text flow more smoothly.

I hope you enjoy it
