I'm deliberately building infrastructure-level expertise on top of my existing software engineering background — not claiming it, building it.
- Path: Following Google's official Cloud AI Infrastructure learning path — Compute Engine, GKE-based ML orchestration, GPU/TPU accelerator fundamentals, and AI Hypercomputer architecture.
- Applying what I already have: 8+ years of distributed systems, CI/CD, and architecture experience from production mobile/backend work, now aimed at cloud infrastructure fundamentals.
- How I'm learning faster: using AI-assisted tools (Claude, ChatGPT) for structured research, troubleshooting, and self-directed study — alongside hands-on labs, not instead of them.
- Next milestone: Google Associate Cloud Engineer certification, followed by a public portfolio project — a containerized app deployed to GKE via Terraform with a CI/CD pipeline and monitoring dashboards.
- Building on: existing AWS/Azure/GCP application-level cloud experience, now going deeper into infrastructure-level GCP services.
