Investment infrastructure for the way your team actually works.

Connect data, research, portfolio management and risk around your investment decisions. Start with the capabilities you need and integrate with the systems you already use.

Who we serve

Our customers.

Different responsibilities. Different investment processes. Connected data, research and portfolio workflows underneath.

Fund Managers

One investment view. Every portfolio in context.

The investment view may be shared. The cash, benchmark and mandate are not. Your team needs to carry a decision across portfolios without rebuilding the analysis for each account.

Connect portfolio management, IBOR, rebalancing, risk and attribution around the relevant portfolio state. Keep the source systems authoritative and the proposed changes available for review.

Explore Fund Managers

Relevant capabilities

Portfolio management & IBOR
Bring holdings, cash, weights and instrument data into a consistent view across portfolios.
Construction & rebalancing
Compare current and target allocations, proposed orders, turnover and cash impact.
Brinson attribution
Analyse benchmark-relative allocation, selection and interaction effects using portfolio and benchmark inputs.
Risk & mandate controls
Review exposures, portfolio limits and configured restrictions alongside proposed changes.
Investment oversight
Keep research, proposals and decision history available to investment, risk and operations teams.
Integration with your stack
Connect the agreed OMS, custody, accounting and reporting interfaces while preserving their responsibilities.

Hedge Funds

The book, the risk and the reasoning. Together.

Positions move before the next meeting. Research lives in one place, risk in another, and the reasoning behind a trade can disappear between them.

Bring the current book, proposed position changes and decision context into one review. Connect data and systematic research where they help the team assess what changes — and why.

Explore Hedge Funds

Relevant capabilities

PMS & IBOR
Positions, cash, current and target weights, and proposed orders in one portfolio workflow.
Portfolio risk & scenarios
Exposures, concentration, factor analysis and the effect of a proposed change on the book.
Research & decision context
Connect the thesis, supporting evidence and review history through Decision Packets.
Systematic strategies
Test systematic ideas with explicit costs and execution assumptions before evaluating an allocation.
Walk-forward validation
Challenge results across research windows and examine parameter sensitivity in Backtester.
Governed data access
Bring market and fundamental data into your workflow through APIs, SDKs and permissioned MCP.

Family Offices

A clearer portfolio picture. Under your control.

An investment question should not require assembling custodian reports, spreadsheets and old emails from scratch. Your team needs the portfolio and its context, with the underlying dates and gaps visible.

Bring agreed holdings, exposures, risk and research into a controlled investment environment. Keep accounting and other authoritative records in the systems responsible for them.

Explore Family Offices

Relevant capabilities

Consolidated portfolio view
Combine agreed custodian and internal sources with reporting dates and coverage in view.
Exposure & concentration
Understand how individual positions contribute to the portfolio’s risk and dependencies.
Allocation & liquidity review
Inspect weights, cash and the effect of proposed investments before the next investment discussion.
Investment memory
Keep the original rationale, research and review history alongside the relevant positions.
Private deployment
Evaluate a dedicated cloud or client-environment deployment for your investment data.
Controlled access
Define the roles, permissions and data access needed by the office’s investment team.

Quant Research

From a promising result to evidence you can revisit.

A backtest is useful only when the team can recover its inputs, inspect the assumptions and challenge the result. Infrastructure work should not consume the research process.

Connect research data, systematic backtesting, walk-forward validation and reproducible experiments. Keep your models and notebooks, then evaluate accepted research in a portfolio context.

Explore Quant Research

Relevant capabilities

Research data & Python workflows
Access market, fundamental and reference data through APIs and SDKs, with source coverage checked for your research.
Systematic strategy backtesting
Simulate strategies with explicit costs, slippage, borrow and financing assumptions.
Walk-forward & optimisation
Evaluate rolling or expanding windows, parameter sets and sensitivity across different market periods.
Performance & risk metrics
Examine returns, drawdowns and risk-adjusted results across more than 80 metrics.
Reproducible experiments
Retain inputs, parameters and outputs so colleagues can recover a run and challenge its assumptions.
From strategy to portfolio
Assess accepted research against portfolio weights, exposures and risk before proposing an allocation.

FAQ

What buyers ask first.

What is live today?

Data Gateway is in production with 90+ sources and exchanges and 640+ governed routes. Backtester Open is available under Apache 2.0 with 50 runnable strategies, while Backtester PRO adds managed data and advanced research workflows. OneBook is in institutional testing across portfolio management, IBOR, risk and investment workflows.

Can QuantJourney replace or integrate with our current stack?

Both. Products can run independently, provide core portfolio, data and research capabilities, or integrate with systems already in place. Use the capabilities you need and keep the components that work.

Can it run privately in our environment?

Yes. Deployment options include managed cloud, dedicated single-tenant environments, your own cloud and compatible private infrastructure. Product scope, access, network boundaries and data residency are agreed per deployment.

How do you secure client data?

Access is scoped by tenant, identity and role; credentials are held in managed secrets infrastructure; transport and storage are encrypted; and relevant user, service and administrative actions are auditable. Private deployments can keep vendor credentials and permitted data inside the client's environment.

How do we start and what does it cost?

Data Gateway starts at US$199/month for Hosted and US$999/month for Private, plus standard setup for Private. Backtester Open is free, with PRO available as a paid research offering. OneBook Core starts at US$30,000/year. Start with one product or workflow and expand only where useful.
