The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Minority Health (OMH) Population Profiles are a collection of detailed data summaries about many chronic diseases, conditions, and related factors that influence the health status and health outcomes of racial and ethnic minority populations and American Indians/Alaska Natives in the United States. HHS OMH sources and compiles data from a variety of trusted federal sources to improve access to these data and increase knowledge and understanding of chronic diseases and health risks affecting our focus populations.
