Research Frontiers and Development Trends in Numerical Algebra and Scientific Computing (NASC Conference 2025)

Participating journal: Advances in Computational Mathematics

This topical collection of the journal “Advances in Computational Mathematics” contains carefully selected and peer-reviewed articles submitted by the conference speakers and members of the advisory, scientific, and organizing committees of “The Eighth International Conference on Numerical Algebra and Scientific Computing (NASC 2025)”.

NASC 2025 is organized by the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science (AMSS) at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and supported by the Northwest University (NU). It is held during July 19--23, 2025, at Xi'an, P.R. China. The principal organizers are Professor Zhong-Zhi Bai from AMSS, Beijing, and Professor Yu-Hong Ran from NU, Xi'an.

NASC is an international conference organized by Chinese numerical algebra group starting from 2006. The conference highlights recent advances in theoretical, computational and practical aspects of linear and nonlinear numerical algebra. The aim of the conference is to gather numerical algebra and scientific computing experts to exchange ideas and discuss future developments and trends of these closely related fields.

For the submissions of this topical collection, as a tradition only the committee members, oral speakers and poster presentationers of NASC 2025 are eligible to submit at most one manuscript for each of them.
