wxPython is a Python extension library for developing cross platform GUI. This repostiory contains a variety of code examples for developing different GUI elements with wxPython. It is an alternative to other GUI development toolkits like PyQt, Tkinter etc.
This simple module demonstrantes the creation of the two main objects in wxPython which are the main window object and the application object, followed by passing the control to the event-driven system by calling MainLoop() which manages the user-interactive part of the program.
#!/usr/bin/env python
import wx
class App(wx.App):
def OnInit(self):
frame = wx.Frame(parent=None, title='Bare')
frame.Show()
return True
app = App()
app.MainLoop()Download or fork the repository
