This change fixes several parity issues in the Java code generator to match protoc output, specifically targeting MinimalProtoParityTest and ComprehensiveTestNestedMinimalParityTest.

Key changes:

  • Adjusted MessageFieldGenerator.java to correctly handle oneof fields vs regular fields in terms of onChanged() placement, builder accessor side effects, and merge logic.
  • Fixed indentation quirks in MessageFieldGenerator for oneof getters and merge calls.
  • Restored EnumFieldGenerator.java variable naming (tmpRaw vs rawValue) to satisfy parity tests.
  • Updated PROTOC.md with new findings regarding oneof handling and indentation rules.

These changes ensure that the generated Java code for minimal and nested proto files is byte-for-byte identical to the reference implementation.
