Summary of What Has Been Done

Added an explicit guard that returns an empty array when feedUrl is an empty string (e.g., unsupported platform case) before calling parser.parseURL() in lib/rss.ts.

Changes Made

  • lib/rss.ts: Added if (!feedUrl) { return []; } check before parser.parseURL(feedUrl) to prevent an empty URL from being passed to the RSS parser

Impact it Made

  • Prevents unnecessary RSS parser calls with empty URLs
  • Returns a clean empty result instead of potentially throwing or returning unexpected data

Closes

Closes #8676
