In order to run the script, install of the "data.table" and "dplyr" packages are needed as object type and functions within each are used. The script also assumes that the data is extracted into a subdirectory called "data" in the same director where the script is run.
The script first combines activity with variable data for the two separate test and train datasets, applies loaded labels from those provided in features.txt, then combines the two train/test datasets into one dataset before grouping as noted applying a mean calculation across each variable.
- "SubjectID" - integer value indicating the subject studied
- "Activity" - characher value of values: WALKING, WALKING_UPSTAIRS, WALKING_DOWNSTAIRS, SITTING, STANDING, LAYING
The remaining values are number values of calculated means of each variable for that activity, for the subject noted.
