Hi, I'm Shiv 👋

My purpose: to inspire people to create technology with joy and wonder.

I'm a Staff Software Engineer at You.com, working on AI search infrastructure. Over the past 15+ years I've shipped zero-to-one products at startups — including as employee #1 at HackerRank and a two-time founder. I've also been an open-source contributor since my Google Summer of Code 2011 project with the Sahana Software Foundation.
