I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering at Ege University in İzmir, with a focus on the Semantic Web, under the supervision of Prof. Murat Osman Ünalır. Then, I graduated from the Data Science master's program at the University of Potsdam and have started pursuing a PhD in the Corporate Semantic Web Group at Freie Universität Berlin.

I am a research scientist at the Text Mining Research group of the Senckenberg Data Analysis and Modeling Center. I am working on generating a knowledge graph (a taxonomy and a multimodal KG) from type-specimen catalogs and historical entomological texts.

My interests are continual learning, adversarial training, robustness, cognitive science, knowledge graphs, and ontology engineering (💚)

🩷 I submitted a journal paper, "Retrieval-Augmented Generation-based Relation Extraction," to the Semantic Web Journal in March 2024. It is SWJ. It is just accepted to the Semantic Web journal 🎉 Its next version is accepted by the XLLM workshop @ACL 2025.

📰 Another journal paper, "Large Language Models for Continual Relation Extraction," has just been accepted by the IEEE Access Journal.
