Yesterday I opened an issue here pypa/packaging-problems#759 about how to handle binary/native packaging, since I couldnt find much info on this topic. However, as seen I quickly got a helpful reply pointing to https://pypackaging-native.github.io/ which is exactly what I was looking for.

I think it would be great if there could be a link somewhere in the Packaging guide to pypackaging-native to help people like me.
