This upgrade is stacked on #58 because both PRs touched the Node test matrix. After #58 lands, the remaining diff updates all three workflow uses to setup-node v7.0.0 and strengthens the GitHub installation-instruction test. Automatic npm caching is disabled, the examples recommend Node 24, and the combined matrix also exercises the upstream minimum Node 22.22.0 on Linux and Windows.
Local verification: full actionlint; 214 unit tests passed (10 platform-specific skips on macOS); the workflow structure was checked for all three action pins and cache settings. The current GitHub run tests both runtime versions, global npm, and npx.
