pptcli — AI PowerPoint CLI / PPTX Generator from Natural-Language Prompts

pptcli turns a written prompt into a real, editable .pptx deck — no templates, no manual layout, no PowerPoint app required. pptcli is the PowerPoint generator inside the OfficeCLI toolkit, distributed as a single cross-platform binary on npm and Homebrew.

Pick one channel. If you previously installed via Homebrew and now want npm, uninstall the Homebrew formula first. Full install guide: officecli/officecli.

After install, the first run uses hosted anonymous trial access — no API key, no local model endpoint needed.

What pptcli does under that single command:

• Plans the slide structure from your prompt (sections, titles, bullets)
• Generates and embeds suitable images automatically (use --no-images for a text-only deck)
• Writes a real .pptx file to ./output/ — editable in PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides, and WPS
• Optionally returns a public preview URL when online publishing is configured
