GLPISCCMPluginSchema

Plugin to synchronize computers from SCCM (version 1802) to GLPI.

Workflow

  • The plugin integrates two automatic actions : "SCCMCollect" et "SCCMPush".
  • The automatic action "SCCMCollect" queries the SCCM server with MsSQL queries.
  • This same action builds an XML file for each computer.
  • The automatic action "SCCMPush" injects XML files into the GLPI native inventory over HTTP(s) (via cURL) to display computers in GLPI.

Development setup

This plugin needs a Microsoft SQL Server database (the SCCM source) and the sqlsrv PHP extension, neither of which ships with the base GLPI development image.

A ready-to-use dockerised environment (MSSQL service + sqlsrv + msodbcsql18

  • a fixture SCCM database) is provided in .dev/:
cd plugins/sccm
make sccm-env-up # build app image + start stack incl. MSSQL
make sccm-db-seed # load the fixture schema (database CM_TST)
make sccm-verify-ext # check the sqlsrv extension is loaded

See .dev/README.md for the plugin configuration values and the full workflow. make install-ext remains as a minimal fallback that only installs the extension into the running base container.
