Description

Automate the release process of plotly.js (where possible).

Why should this change be made?

The current release process for plotly.js is very manual and prone to errors or upset conditions. We should automate this process to avoid these pitfalls.

Scope

• Add new workflows in GH
• Implement trusted publishing to npm
• Make partial bundle publishing idempotent

Notes

• We should use GH actions to manage the various steps of prepping the release
