Warnings about bargroupgap #1956

Open

Description

@chschan

Getting warnings "'layout' objects don't have these attributes: 'bargroupgap'" (which is listed here: https://plotly.com/r/reference/#layout-bargroupgap). Apart from the warnings, the chart looks fine but it would be nice to not have spurious warnings

pp <- plot_ly()
pp <- add_trace(pp, x=1:10, y=1:10, type = "bar", name = "A")
pp <- add_trace(pp, x=1:10, y=15-(1:10), type = "bar", name = "B")
pp <- layout(pp, bargap = 0.2, bargroupgap=0.05)

    @stragu

    I assume this will be fixed the next time the package is built, when the Schema is imported from Plotly, as defined in this section:

    https://github.com/ropensci/plotly/blob/3581d7a09b5c2c043869f33fccd86f97d3a8c51a/inst/plotlyjs.R#L41-L43

    The Schema is later on used here to define the valid attributes:

    https://github.com/ropensci/plotly/blob/e02a704d3743ef3dc59714af1b9fc6d3c248186e/R/utils.R#L456

    @radbasa

    We are using 4.10.1 and we are still getting the same bargroupgap warning.

    @DaniFlat

    Unfortunately, the warning still pops up. I hope this will be fixed in the next version.
