Currently we have the command Python: Clear Workspace Interpreter setting to reset/clear the selected interpreter, but it's not as discoverable #17693 (comment).
I think we can add a button next to the refresh button at the top right so folks who need it can see it easily:
That feature would be great. I searched for quite a while for the feature that "Python: Clear Workspace Interpreter setting" does. I couldn't find anything mulltiple times so it would be super helpful if the feature would be available where it is needed.
You could also add an entry to the list below "Select at workspace level", so it is directly visible.
Thank you for submitting your feature request and everyone who considered it! Unfortunately, this issue did not receive enough votes over the allotted time, and so we are closing the issue. PRs are welcome so you can create a PR that fixes this if you are passionate about getting this feature across the finish line. Thanks!

Kartik Raj (@karrtikr) oh I like that! not sure which icon would be best to reflect that but it's something we can talk to the design team as well 😊

Before we change this to "Needs PR", it'd be nice to have a proposal on how that would look like, and which icon to use
