Problem

Opening a nested preview under Reports, Insights, Criteria, Prompts, MCP servers, Extensions or Profiles adds the standard page padding to a full-bleed list, shifting its content. This is the follow-up requested in the review of #1459: #1459 (review).

Change

Add the seven exact nested preview patterns to FULL_BLEED_ROUTE_PATTERNS. Ordinary detail and creation routes keep their padding. Add parameterized navigation/direct-load regressions, seven synthetic Storybook shell examples with interaction checks, and update the Portal Shell documentation.

Based directly on upstream main; the separate key-preview fix in #1459 is not included.

Validation

  • Before the fix: all 14 preview regressions fail; the other 14 Layout tests pass.
  • After the fix: all 488 portal tests across 68 files pass, including open/close, direct-load and standalone-padding coverage for every requested route.
  • Portal tsc --noEmit passes.
  • Storybook static build passes.

Local Vitest used an uncommitted Windows-only config that normalizes the existing @/ alias path separators; no test behavior or dependency changes.
