To release the next version of tower-lsp-server, I am considering lsprotocol to replace the unmaintained gluon-lang/lsp-types dependency. This would be an alternative to maintain a fork of lsp-types, which is very error-prone and time-consuming, or trying codegen ourselves.
It is not possible to depend on crates outside the registry when publishing to the registry, and thus is a hard requirement for tower-lsp-server. Furthermore, I don't know if the reached generated code is stable or is still considered alpha.
It is possible to have some insights of when a crates.io release could happen?
