Installation

Download a preset and open it; iTerm2 imports it and names the preset after the file. The command saves the files with spaces so the presets read Living Code Night, Living Code Frost, Living Code Paper and Living Code Signal:

curl -fsSL -o "$HOME/Downloads/Living Code #1.itermcolors" "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/living-code-theme/iterm2/main/Living-Code-{Night,Frost,Paper,Signal}.itermcolors" && open "$HOME"/Downloads/Living\ Code\ *.itermcolors

Then pick one under Settings → Profiles → Colors → Color Presets. Fallback: in that same menu choose Import... and select the downloaded files.

Flavors

Expand a flavor for its activation instructions.

Night · Dark · full palette

Choose Living Code Night under Settings → Profiles → Colors → Color Presets after importing the preset.

Frost · Dark · softer chroma

Choose Living Code Frost under Settings → Profiles → Colors → Color Presets after importing the preset.

Paper · Light · near-white slate

Choose Living Code Paper under Settings → Profiles → Colors → Color Presets after importing the preset.

Signal · Dark · teal accent

Choose Living Code Signal under Settings → Profiles → Colors → Color Presets after importing the preset.

Configuration

See iTerm2's documentation for application settings and reload behavior. The activation instructions above identify each supported flavor; keep your other application configuration.

Compatibility

This port supplies theme files for iTerm2, not the application itself. Install the application separately and follow the installation instructions for its supported configuration format.

Contributing

Found a problem? Open an issue with the app version, the flavor and a screenshot. Want Living Code somewhere else? Request a port.

Pull requests are welcome. Keep this README, port.json and images/ in sync, and use real screenshots of the app, never mockups.
