This is the first release of Deployment Tracker! Deployment Tracker is a Kubernetes controller that monitors pod lifecycles and uploads deployment records to GitHub's artifact metadata API. The controller watches for pod events using a Kubernetes informer. When a pod enters the Running state, a CREATED event is queued; when a pod is deleted, a DELETED event is queued. Worker goroutines process these events and post deployment records to the GitHub artifact metadata API. These records can be used to track artifact deployments and enrich GitHub Advanced Security alerts.
