Adds Sitemap Cohort Auditor, a free MIT-licensed Node.js CLI for checking sitemap declarations and comparing URL cohorts before and after a site release. It also supports local release-policy checks for CI. It does not crawl listed pages or predict indexing or rankings.
Submitted on behalf of Edilec, the project maintainer. The description and license come from the public repository and its MIT license.
The entry follows the current
content/tools/*.mdfrontmatter format inCONTRIBUTING.md, usestool_type: cli, and adds one item. Optional categories are omitted because the guide referencesdata/categories.yaml, which is absent from the current main branch.Validation: frontmatter parsed successfully; slug matches the filename; repository content and issue/PR searches for sitemap, cohort, and Edilec found no existing entry. Website and repository destinations were checked before submission. Hugo is not installed locally, so a full site build was not run.
