🚨 Severity: HIGH 💡 Vulnerability: Server authentication used a standard string equality (`===`) check to compare passwords, which short-circuits and is vulnerable to timing attacks, allowing attackers to guess passwords character by character. 🎯 Impact: Attackers could potentially bypass authentication on the server by brute-forcing the password via a timing attack. 🔧 Fix: Used `crypto.timingSafeEqual` for constant-time string comparison. Added a dummy comparison when password lengths differ to prevent length leakage. ✅ Verification: Ran `packages/server` and `packages/opencode` test suites locally, which passed successfully, ensuring no regressions.
