The README only contained developer/publishing notes with no explanation of Snowflake itself or how to actually use the package.

Changes

  • What is Snowflake? — explains the Tor pluggable transport, WebRTC disguise mechanism, proxy-vs-exit-node distinction, resource profile, and auto-registration behaviour; links to upstream docs
  • How the Dappnode Package Works — new user-facing section covering:
    • Installation via DAppStore
    • Services table describing snowflake-proxy
    • Networking: why a fixed UDP range (30000–30999) is used and what port-forwarding is needed to avoid restricted-NAT classification
    • Configuration: EXTRA_OPTS table with description and link to all upstream flags
    • Logs: where to find them in the UI and how to enable verbose output
  • Existing Publishing and Notes sections retained; redundant bullets removed
