I write code that works, which already puts me ahead of most systems I’ve seen.
I design frontend and backend systems that don’t fail under normal conditions, build APIs that behave predictably, and automate processes that were never meant to be manual in the first place. Most of my time is spent fixing things that were considered “acceptable” by people who don’t have to maintain them.
I work with JavaScript and TypeScript, using Python where it makes sense, PostgreSQL where data actually matters, and AWS when it decides to cooperate. Docker exists so I don’t have to hear “it works on my machine” ever again.
Right now, I’m focused on building systems that scale quietly, require minimal supervision, and don’t introduce new problems every time they solve one.
If it’s not automated, it’s a liability. If it’s not scalable, it’s already broken.
