bug: invalid character '<' across the CLI #27044

Current Behavior

This issue was flagged previously with #1205.

coder whoami and some other coder commands returns this

Expected Behavior

No response

Steps to Reproduce

1. sudo docker exec -it coder bash
2. use coder whoami
3. see the output

Environment

• Host OS: Ubuntu
• Coder version: 2.34.5

Additional Context

I have tested this on the latest version
