CS student at ESCOM (IPN), Mexico City. I write mostly Python and C++.
Stuff I actually spend time on
- ML / AI — computer vision mostly. PyTorch, YOLO, OpenCV. Spent a semester in Osaka
- Competitive programming — ICPC, a problem most days. I'm not great at it. I do it anyway, that's sort of the deal.
- Ricing Linux — Debian + KDE Plasma on Wayland, kitty, zsh, starship. It is never finished. I have made my prompt slower to make it prettier and I would do it again.
- Low-level things — wrote a camera app straight against V4L2 because I wanted to know what
cv2.VideoCapture(0)was hiding from me. Turns out: a lot.
Languages
Python ← the favorite, by a wide margin
C++ ← contests, and when Python gets embarrassing
C ← drivers, buffers, regret
Scala ← Spark pays the bills
Dart ← Flutter side project
