Caner Çakır

Software Developer · AI & ML Engineering · Quantitative Development

👨‍💻 About Me

I'm Caner, a Software Development student focused on AI Engineering and building real-world software products.

I work on both sides of the field: building intelligent applications with LLMs, RAG, and agentic systems, while understanding the foundations underneath — machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, and reinforcement learning. What draws me in is the full lifecycle of an AI system, from data and model development to backend architecture, deployment, and product integration.

I'm most interested in where AI, software engineering, and product meet. I want to build systems that aren't just technically interesting, but useful, scalable, and capable of becoming real products — which is also why I care about entrepreneurship. My long-term direction is to combine engineering and business by building my own AI-powered products and technology companies.

I'm also drawn to Quantitative Finance — applying machine learning, intelligent agents, and data-driven systems to financial markets.

For me, engineering isn't only about writing code. It's about understanding how things work, building them from the ground up, and turning ideas into systems that create real value.
