Minor bugfixes to aas_checkreg, mir_findvol, and aamod_coreg_noss (see summary below). Bigger changes on the way soon.
Also added .DS_Store to gitignore so Git stops complaining about it.
Also, I'm adding a CHANGE HISTORY to the comment block at the top of files I change. Even though changes are tracked here and though the commits, I think this is a good practice and very helpful for future developers.
