Commenting here because I cannot find the answer yet... I am using this python SDK, how the authentication process could be triggered from this (using auth0 client), without the need to send the direct request? I would like to take advantage that the user has an otp configured to add a security layer to another process out of the application that uses the login

Good catch. I'm happy to review a PR if you like to send one. Otherwise, I'm tracking this internally as
SDK-2336.For guidance, the code and unit tests look really similar to those from the password realm login. And you can get the available parameters from this documentation https://auth0.com/docs/api/authentication#authenticate-user.

I picked this up today and made another PR with the required changes to complete the authentication with
/oauth/token.The
/oauth/roendpoint is deprecated and shouldn't be used.
