Historically, classes from https://code.google.com/p/java-diff-utils/ were copied to org.assertj.core.util.diff.
There seems to be a maintained fork available on Maven Central.
It should be analyzed if we want to depend on such a project and whether we want to shade it or include it transitively, considering the complexity that shading has brought in the past (see what was removed at #2477).
