Which @angular/* package(s) are the source of the bug?
compiler
Is this a regression?
Yes
Description
Building our application takes 27-31s via ng b (same or even more for ng s).
missingStructuralDirective does not emit a warning, as our code is correct.
Setting
"angularCompilerOptions": {
"extendedDiagnostics": {
"checks": {
"missingStructuralDirective": "suppress"
}
}
}
cuts build times to 15-18s.
Is there a way to improve the speed of this check? I would like to keep it enabled while still getting the safety from it.
Our application has:
- 320 components
- 120x small custom
*directive
- no
*ngIf/*ngFor
- 1250x
*matCellDef
- 180x
*matRowDef
- 160x
*matHeaderRowDef
