В каждом файле можно пройтись автоформатированием текста, он поправит отступы под стандарты языка

В идеальном мире "стоп слово" можно вынести как константу, тогда при его изменении тебе не пришлось бы менять его в 2х местах

Если условий больше 2х, то обычно применяют конструкцию switch-case
