This library is a port of Ruby's faker gem (as well as Perl's Data::Faker library) that generates fake data. It's useful when you're developing a new project and need some pretty data for showcase.

For maven users add the following to your pom.xml:

    <artifactId>javafaker</artifactId>
    <version>1.0.2</version>
</dependency>

For gradle users, add one of the following to your build.gradle file depending on the style you use:

implementation 'com.github.javafaker:javafaker:1.0.2'

implementation group: 'com.github.javafaker', name: 'javafaker', version: '1.0.2'

implementation("com.github.javafaker:javafaker:1.0.2")

Faker faker = new Faker();
