Hi, I'm Stan 👋

Frontend Engineer with 6+ Years in Production 🇫🇮

📍 Helsinki, Finland

Frontend developer with 6+ years of shipping code to production, accidentally breaking things, and fixing them before PagerDuty wakes up the team.

I build web apps using TypeScript, React, and Vue/Nuxt. I don't write tutorial-grade code in isolated vacuums — I build complex, living, messy production systems that handle real users, flaky networks, and aggressive deadlines. I care deeply about real-world UX — snappy UI, intuitive flows, and code that works for actual humans with thumbs, rather than vanity Lighthouse scores engineered by delaying every modal until next Tuesday.

🛠️ Battle Scars & Hard-Won Skills

  • SSR & Hydration Survival: Have stared into the abyss of Hydration text content does not match server-rendered HTML and lived to tell the tale.
  • Cache Invalidation & Chunk 404s: Intimately familiar with the horror of users running stale builds after a deployment, and knowing exactly how to bust cache without telling clients to "just clear cookies in incognito".
  • TypeScript Pragmatism: Strong believer in strict typing and type safety, but experienced enough to know that writing a 4-level recursive generic conditional type at 2 AM is a crime against humanity.
  • GitLab CI & Docker Resilience: Patient enough to watch a Kaniko pipeline fail at 99.8% on a Friday afternoon and still remain calm.
  • Telegram Mini Apps (TMA) & Mobile Web: Building high-touch, snappy mobile web interfaces that don't feel like a website trapped inside a webview.

🧪 Side Quests & AI Tinkering

When I step away from frontend state machines, I experiment with local models, agentic workflows, and game AI:

  • 🎮 Trained an AI Bot for Arcomage: Fine-tuned/trained a model to master Arcomage (the cult tavern card game from Might & Magic) because why play against humans when you can teach a machine to balance brick, gem, and recruit economics?
  • 🎨 ComfyUI Generative Pipelines: Built complex node-based visual generation pipelines for Tarot projects on Linux. Can navigate massive node spaghetti without losing sanity.
  • 🤖 Agentic Workflows & Local LLMs: Actively using and orchestrating multi-agent systems and local LLMs (Ollama) in real-world development loops — practical augmentation, not just asking a chatbot for regex.
