Hey, I'm Ruben! 👋

I'm a software engineer and technical lead with 24+ years of experience building, modernizing, and shipping production software.

I spent much of my career developing mobile applications, but my work has grown to include software architecture, enterprise integrations, cloud platforms, and AI-assisted engineering.

I enjoy solving complex problems, learning new technologies, and building things that actually make it into production.

🔧 What I'm into these days

  • AI-assisted development — Exploring agentic workflows, GitHub Copilot, Claude, and ways to make software engineering more effective.
  • Software architecture & modernization — Making existing systems better, not necessarily rebuilding everything from scratch.
  • Hands-on engineering — .NET, C#, TypeScript, Kotlin, Azure, and whatever tools make sense for the problem.
  • Personal projects — Building useful applications, experimenting with ideas, and occasionally scratching my own engineering itch.
