Feb 2026 – Jun 2026 · VTU Internship, MERN Stack Team 4 (team of 4)

• Built ServiceMate, a three-role service booking platform (customers, technicians, admins) with 30+ REST endpoints across auth, bookings, technicians, services, and admin modules
• Implemented JWT authentication with OTP email verification (Nodemailer), bcrypt password hashing, and role-based access control
• Modeled a 5-state booking lifecycle: pending → accepted → in-progress → completed → cancelled
• Hardened the API with Helmet, CORS, rate limiting, XSS / NoSQL-injection sanitization, and HPP
• Added PDF invoice generation (PDFKit) and image uploads (Multer + Cloudinary)
• Wrote Playwright end-to-end tests for critical user flows; deployed frontend on Vercel and backend on Render

Detects smishing (SMS phishing) using a Hypergraph Neural Network trained in PyTorch, with a Python backend that serves real-time predictions and persists results.

• 92% accuracy on a dataset of 1,591 labeled SMS messages; 89% precision / 90% recall on the phishing class
• Feature pipeline built on TF-IDF and message metadata; benchmarked against rule-based and CNN-LSTM baselines
