Impact

REQUIRED: Choose either Tooling Impact or Customer Impact (or both). At least one checkbox must be selected.

Tooling Impact

  • Required tooling change
  • Optional tooling change (include reasoning)

Updates the Windows container image used by coordinated package and vPack pipeline variables to the latest supported LTSC 2022 image on release/v7.4.15.

Customer Impact

  • Customer reported
  • Found internally

Regression

REQUIRED: Check exactly one box.

  • Yes
  • No

This is not a regression.

Testing

The cherry-pick applied cleanly to release/v7.4.15 and only changes the WindowsContainerImage values in two pipeline variable templates. CI on the backport PR will validate that the release packaging jobs continue to run successfully with the updated image.

Risk

REQUIRED: Check exactly one box.

  • High
  • Medium
  • Low

High risk because changing the Windows container image can affect multiple packaging and build jobs across the release pipeline, even though the edit itself is small and well-scoped.
