Provide a fast path for constructing a StridedMemoryView from a torch.tensor #749
@leofang I was reviewing this issue with @cpcloud and we feel this should be accomplished with the work to support dlpack. I'll close this issue. If you feel that this was closed by mistake feel free to re-open and we can re-litigate.
Ah, @rparolin let me reopen this (and un-assign Phillip for now) . The goal is to integrate with @emcastillo's internal POC "tensor-bridge." But none of us has time to push it forward... 🥲

Need to incorporate @emcastillo's tensor bridge. The main challenge will be setting up a CI pipeline for building/testing.
