Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Work with the CUDA Python team on solving problems related to calling into C++ APIs, specifically those using CCCL types, focusing on:

  • General C++ ownership and lifetime management (adapting cuda.core's object model to support wrapping C++ smart pointers/custom classes).
  • Compatibility with CCCL types (providing built-in solutions for CCCL's vocabulary types).

Reassigning the whole epic to Andy, since this is coupled to his ongoing "cuda-core^2" proposal.
