I am the owner of a Xiaomi Mi Box S (model MDZ-22-AB), which ships with U-Boot and a Linux kernel, both licensed under GPLv2. Under GPLv2 Section 3, Xiaomi is required to make the complete, corresponding source code for these components available to anyone who receives the binary — either by including it with the product, providing a written offer valid for at least three years, or another compliant method.
Could you please either:
- Point me to where the complete U-Boot and kernel source for MDZ-22-AB is published, or
- Confirm a timeline for its release if it hasn't yet been made available.
I'd appreciate a response within 30 days. Happy to provide the firmware version/build number from my device if that helps locate the correct source tree.
