./install.shWindows (elevated PowerShell)

.\install.ps1Both scripts are safe to re-run. If a config already exists at the target path and isn't this repo, it's backed up (.bak.<timestamp>) rather than overwritten.
- Install system dependencies via the native package manager (
brewon macOS,apt-get/dnf/pacmanon Linux, wingeton Windows): git, ripgrep, fd, a C compiler (for treesitter/LuaSnip), Node.js, Python 3, Terraform,xmllint,cargo/rustc (mason buildsgitlab_ci_lsfrom source, andfff.nvimfalls back to building itself), a Nerd Font, and oh-my-posh. - Clone this repo to the right config path for your OS.
- Install the
ohmyposh/theme.jsonprompt theme to~/.config/ohmyposh/theme.jsonand wireoh-my-posh initinto your shell profile (.zshrc/.bashrcon macOS/Linux,$PROFILEon Windows) if it isn't already there. - Headlessly install all lazy.nvim plugins and mason-managed LSP servers/formatters (
prettier,jq,yamlfmt, netcoredbg, stylua), so the first real launch ofnvimdoesn't need to do any of that itself.
- Terminal font: the scripts install a Nerd Font (JetBrainsMono Nerd Font) system-wide, but you still need to set your terminal emulator to use it — this is per-terminal and can't be scripted generically.
- .NET SDK: only needed if you're working in a C# project (roslyn.nvim / neotest-dotnet). Not installed by these scripts.
