  2. Update docs for v0.1.8 release and updater 

    Refreshes release documentation to align with v0.1.8 across changelog, security policy, architecture, feature status, roadmap, and component docs. It also updates the release process to reflect NSIS-only signed builds, active auto-update flow (`latest.json` + signature), revised smoke-test/release steps, and related troubleshooting notes.
