My MBEC 2008 paper (see link) describes vmtk and it has received 396 citations so far. Many papers refer to vmtk through this citation https://scholar.google.it/citations?hl=it&user=cA3i9uEAAAAJ#d=gs_md_cita-d&p=&u=%2Fcitations%3Fview_op%3Dview_citation%26hl%3Dit%26user%3DcA3i9uEAAAAJ%26citation_for_view%3DcA3i9uEAAAAJ%3Au-x6o8ySG0sC%26tzom%3D-120

@lantiga please find attached my draft paper for submission of VMTK 1.4 to the Journal of Open Source Software. The current status satisfies the author guidelines: https://joss.theoj.org/about#author_guidelines, and sits at about 750 words. This shouldn't take long, a quick review would be appreciated!
What I need from you:
paper.mdfor clarity and wording.Once you give me your ORCID ID and I get the go ahead to merge, I'll handle submission and manage the review process. Thanks
