This page covers the first steps after installing AndroidIRCX.

• Open the app.
• If prompted, allow notifications so you can receive IRC alerts in the background.
• Set your theme and basic preferences in Settings.

When disconnected:

• Tap the network name in the header to connect to the default network.
• Or open the dropdown menu and choose "Connect to Default".

• A network is a named configuration (nick, realname, options).
• A network can have one or more servers.
• A connection is an active session to a server in a network.
• Each server, channel, or DM appears as a tab.

1. Create a network profile.
2. Add at least one server.
3. Connect to the network.
4. Join a channel.
