JSON and XML formatter

A web application that lets you pretty-print JSON and XML, as well as decode the input and encode the result into a base64 string.

Development server

Run ng serve for a dev server. Navigate to http://localhost:4200/. The application will automatically reload if you change any of the source files.

Build

Run ng build to build the project. The build artifacts will be stored in the dist/ directory.

Running unit tests

Run ng test to execute the unit tests via Vitest.

Motivation

I've seen a lot of similar web apps, but they either work a bit slow, are infested with ads, or both. I couldn't bare to see my coworkers using these apps anymore, nor I wanted use them myself, so I decided to create this application.

Desktop apps with similar functionality do exist, but I personally find it more convenient to use a web app in my browser.

Elephant in the room

I do use an AI assistant on this project. For now - only for code review.

While I'm certain the code I push here is at least OK, there is always going to be something that I might overlook. An extra pair of eyes, even artificial ones, would be useful.
