Is Decknote free?
Yes. You can create boards, invite your team and use all the core features for free, with no credit card.
How is it different from Trello?
Decknote has the same simple kanban as Trello, but each card opens like a Notion-style page: rich text, checklists, images and attachments. It also adds table, calendar and timeline views, board automations, combinable filters and a REST API — and members are always free.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in the browser. And if you want, you can install it as an app (PWA) on your computer or phone to have it one tap away.
Can I invite people who don't have an account?
Yes. You invite by email and, when that person signs up with that address, they automatically become a member of the board.
Can I move my boards over from Trello?
