Full-stack engineer, happiest with a side project open
I'm Dastan, a full-stack engineer. Most of my work sits on the backend: services, databases, and the Node.js and Rust that hold them together. But I'm comfortable taking a feature all the way out to the browser.
I've built backend systems at phaze.io and spent a year in developer relations at Shuttle, writing and shipping community projects. The work I'm proudest of is the side projects: Rustfinity, a place to learn Rust by doing, and a handful of open source tools people actually run.
